THIS IS A SYNOPSIS FOR A FUTURE SOLICITATION:
THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS:
The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center (FLC) Norfolk, Contracting Department, Regional Directorate intends to solicit, on a 100% small businesses set-aside basis. The current need involves inspection of the F414 engine containers followed by a series of maintenance and repair tasks that increase in complexity across five tiers in support of the NAVSUP Weapon System Support (WSS), Engines Integrated Weapons Support Team (IWST), supports the Engines Division N98211. The current need is for the inspection of no more than 200 containers over a period of 5 years, along with the determination of the level of repair and maintenance needed to restore the containers to a serviceable condition to fulfill the Government’s needs. This requirement will be established as a Commercial FFP Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract to provide flexibility in meeting the Government's recurring needs over the period of performance.
The NAICS code for this effort is 811310 and the size standard is $12.5M. It is the Government’s intent to process this procurement under FAR Part 13.5 procedures and to award a single, firm-fixed price purchase order. It is anticipated that the solicitation for this requirement will be posted on or before 06 June 2025 to https://SAM.gov. The closing date for receipt of quotes will be established in the solicitation. Paper copies, faxed copies, or email copies of the solicitation will not be provided. Interested parties are solely responsible for monitoring the aforementioned websites for posting of the solicitation and any amendments thereto. The Government will not pay for any information received. Contractors must be registered on the System for Award Management (SAM) website (www.sam.gov) in order to be considered for the award. Lack of active registration in the SAM database will make a contractor ineligible for the award.
