Big Lakes County seeks Bids from interested parties for the Swan Hills Airport Airfield Lighting, Navigational Aids and Electrical System Upgrades. Work completed as part of this Contract is comprised of the general construction for the removal and replacement of:
1 Medium intensity edge lighting fixtures for runway, taxiway and apron
2 High intensity threshold lighting fixtures for runway
3 Visual Approach Slope Indicator Systems (VASIS)
4 Illuminated wind direction indicators (wind cones)
5 Airfield Beacon
6 FEC with regulators, power circuits, controls, etc.
7 Cabling and trenching and
8 Pull pits and Isolating Transformers
Work to be completed as part of this Contract also comprises of the general construction
for the addition of:
1 Precision Approach Path Indicators (PAPI’s)
2 Illuminated Mandatory Holding Signs
