The Assumption Parish Police Jury does hereby declare the following pieces of
equipment to be surplus and are no longer needed in the regular operation of the Jury.
This declaration of surplus property is being made in accordance with LSA-RS 33:4712.
The following items shall be sold on an “as is” basis. All bids for the surplus property shall
be sealed and addressed as follows:

Bids may also be hand delivered to 4813 Highway 1, Napoleonville, LA or electronically
submitted via the parish website, http://www.assumptionla.com/Bids.
Tied bids will be determined by the flip of a coin only after preference is given to “in
parish” bidders.
ALL bids are due on or before 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2026.

All equipment may be viewed in Napoleonville by contacting the Secretary-Treasurer at
985-369-7435 or Justin Clement at 985-369-7386.
Removal of the surplus property must be scheduled with the Secretary-Treasurer, Kim M.
Torres. Equipment cannot be moved until Assumption Parish Police Jury receives payment
in the form of cashier’s check, credit card (with a 4% fee added) or money order.
