Surplus Equipment/Furniture Moving Service OLD HV

Purpose of Solicitation:
Remove and transport equipment, furniture and miscellaneous items from Old Hunstville Lab.

Award will be ALL or None. (One supplier for the entire job.)

This is a time sensitive service and the supplier must be able able and equiped to provide service upon receipt of the purchase order.

All qualified suppliers wishing to submit a bid response must be able to provide ADFS with moving services, that meet the following minimum requirements:

Removal Group One

1. The supplier must provide adequate staffing to complete the move of surplus items on December 19, 2024 No Exceptions. Surplus location is ADECA Surplus Property Division 4590 Mobile Hwy.
   Montgomery, AL  36108
   1. The supplier will move general office, laboratory and other items.
   2. Rough estimate of items includes but not limited to:
      1. ~75 chairs (various types)
      2. 16 large storage cabinets
      3. 2-4 small storage cabinets
      4. 2-4 metal bookcases/metal shelving unit items
      5. 2-3 folding tables
      6. 2 4-drawer filing cabinets
      7. 1 fridge/freezer
      8. ~1 whiteboard
      9. 3-5 other items

1. The supplier will be responsible for obtaining forklifts or any moving equipment necessary. Removal Group Two
2. The supplier will remove remaining furniture and general office items from the facility for donation or disposal.
   1. Rough estimate of items includes but not limited to:
      1. 27 desks
      2. 6 credenza
      3. 14 desk returns
      4. 1 sofa
      5. 22 chairs or small tables (various types)
      6. 5 metal shelves
      7. 7 tables (various types)
      8. 2 fridge/freezer
      9. 1 freezer
      10. 1 conference table
      11. 10 bookcases (or like items)
      12. 1 storage cabinet (wooden)
      13. 2 folding tables Removal Group Three
3. The supplier will remove non-furniture debris items from the facility and leave space free and clear of debris, pictures, boards and other miscellaneous non-furniture items.
4. An optional on-site visit will be held at the current facility on December 3, 2024 at 9:00 am.  Interested suppliers may send one representative due to security and accreditation requirements.
5. The supplier must take into account the following when preparing their bid response:
