This notice is intended strictly for market research. The purpose of this Sources Sought notice is to determine the interest and capability of any contractor to meet the requirements listed below.
The Department of Veterans Affairs, Regional Procurement Office Central, Network Contracting Office 10, is seeking sources for three (3) surgical boom systems and one (1) ceiling mounted surgical light for the LTC Charles S. Kettles VA Medical Center located at 2215 Fuller Road, Ann Arbor, MI 48105.
The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 339113 Surgical Appliance and Supplies Manufacturing, and the Business Size Standard is 800 Employees.
The following equipment will fulfill the needs of Primary Care and Urology and must include:
Three (3) Urology rooms (D129, D112 and D109) will all have the same equipment:
A ceiling mounted equipment boom with that houses power, data, oxygen and suction
Boom must have shelves that allows for mounting existing equipment on the boom
IV hooks are required to mount to equipment boom
Two ceiling mounted surgical lights capable of 160,000 lux output
Two ceiling mounted 4K OLED displays, up to 32
Video integration system that supports a minimum of 5 inputs and 4 outputs
Integration connectivity is accessible on plates via the equipment boom and the wall
Integration to be controlled from centralized panel (touch preferred)
Integration preferred to be wall mounted vs. stored in casework
Integration system should include a camera capture unit
One (1) ceiling light in Primary Care room D156:
Singular ceiling mounted surgical lights capable of 160,000 lux output
No boom, monitor or integration required
Full room design incorporating 3D renderings and 2D drawings must be provided. Installation should include booms and all equipment and integration to outfit the renovation of primary care D side procedure rooms. Must be completed in one phase. Will need items on site and ready for installation 8/1/2025.
Basis of design is Stryker (see attached Stryker equipment specs) but other brand equipment meeting the requirements will be considered.

All contractors must be registered with the System for Award Management (SAM) at https://sam.gov.
Any contractor that believes they are capable and desires to claim preference for small business status must be registered with the SBA and meet the requirements of FAR 19.102.
Any contractor that believes they are capable and desires to claim preference for SDVOSB or VOSB status must be registered with the SBA Veteran Small Business Certification Program (VetCert).
