Surf Club Master Plan Consultant

The Town of Madison is seeking proposals from qualified, experienced professional parks planning consultants to assist the Madison Beach and Recreation Department in the creation of a Surf Club Master Plan.  The Town views Surf Club as an invaluable community asset and believes it positively influences property values, economic development, vibrancy and reinforces the identity of Madison as a desirable community in which to live, work and play.  Inclusions in the Master Plan will include but are not limited to buildings, road ways, parking, entrances and exits to Surf Club and site layout.

OPENING TIME: 1pm

A non-mandatory pre-proposal meeting will be held on Monday, April 21st, 2025 at 10am at the Madison Surf Club, 87 Surf Club Road, Madison, CT 06443.  Contractors are encouraged to participate in the site visit to view existing conditions. This will be the only opportunity to view the jobsite.  Questions will not be answered during this meeting.

All questions and the responses thereto, as well as any other necessary addendums, will be published on the Town of Madison’s website , under the “Resources and Forms” tab, then “ Bid/RFP Postings ,” and State of CT/DAS site by 4pm, May 1st, 2025

Proposals must be received in hard-copy format by the Selectmen’s Office, 8 Campus Drive, Madison, CT 06443 no later than 1pm, Thursday, May 8th, 2025 . Proposals will be opened in Town Campus Room A, 8 Campus Drive, Madison, CT 06443 and names of respondents will be publicly read aloud at that time.
