25-62 Supply of Crushed Aggregate for Bituminous Surface Treatment (BST)

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that sealed bids will be received by Purchasing at their office in the Administrative Services Finance Department in the Whatcom County Courthouse, 311 Grand Avenue Suite 503, Bellingham WA 98225, for purchase of the following:

SUPPLY OF CRUSHED AGGREGATE FOR BITUMINOUS SURFACE TREATMENT (BST)

UNTIL 2:30 PM Tuesday, August 26, 2025

And at which time and place the bids will be publicly opened (virtual via Zoom), and read aloud. All bidders and any other interested people are invited to watch the live bid opening via Zoom. Late submittals will not be considered.

Whatcom County Public Works Equipment Services Division is seeking bids for the supply and stockpiling of 3/8” – No. 4 crushed aggregate (washed seal rock) at various county sites in 2025 and 2026 as further described in the bid documents. Material will be used by the Public Works Maintenance & Operations Division as part of their road maintenance program.

Award will be made to the lowest responsible and responsive bidder. Additionally, Whatcom County expressly reserves the right to reject any or all bids, and to waive any irregularities.
