Bid Description:
Vermont State Parks sells camping firewood to park visitors. This program achieves several goals by providing a source of firewood that is reliable, affordable and will deter visitors from cutting park trees or transporting firewood that may carry undesirable or invasive species. Providing quality firewood also enhances the camping experience for those who choose to use wood as a heat source, for cooking, or as a safe pleasant fire around which to gather. In an effort to meet this demand and provide high quality firewood to its customers State Parks intends to contract with one or more vendors to provide firewood as defined for the 2026 operating season.
