Supply & Delivery of Fuel & Diesel Exhaust Fluid

Project Description: The Sonoma-Marin Area Rail Transit District (SMART) is a government commuter rail transportation agency and short line freight rail operator that requires uninterrupted fueling services to support safe and reliable daily passenger rail and freight rail operations. SMART has a fleet of eighteen (18) Diesel Multiple Units ("DMU") trains located at SMART's Rail Operation Center in Santa Rosa, CA that requires nightly delivery and wet-hose fueling services. SMART has a fleet of three (3) freight locomotives located at SMART's Schellville Freight Depot in Sonoma, California that require bi-weekly fueling services.
SMART is seeking proposals from licensed, qualified, and experienced suppliers to supply, deliver, and provide wet-hosing fueling services for the following fuel products to the following SMART facilities:
Rail Operation Center (Santa Rosa, CA)
• Renewable Diesel (RD99) Fuel (RD/Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil aka HVO) as the (Primary Fuel Source)
• Red Dyed No. 2 Diesel Fuel Type 2-D (Back-Up Fuel Source). Used as-needed when Renewable Diesel fuel is unavailable to ensure continued operations.
• Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF)
Schellville Freight Depot (Sonoma, CA)
• Red Dyed No. 2 Diesel Fuel Type 2-D (Primary Fuel Source)
