York is inviting Proposals from qualified Proponents for the supply and delivery of animal caging systems that include apartments with adjoining activity units. These units must be interchangeable with current macaque housing and activity units in use at York. It is York’s intent to purchase individual units in a staggered manner on as-needed basis only (not all at once). Estimated total quantities are provided below for estimate purposes only but are not guaranteed:
Apartments - estimated 15 units total; and
Adjoining activity units - estimated 13 units total. York will only consider Proposal submissions received from Proponents who have registered with MERX ( www.MERX.com ) for this competitive bid. Proposal submissions from Proponents who have not registered and obtained this Bid Document directly from MERX will be disqualified.

Initial deliveries onsite are expected to begin February 2025 and staggered thereafter as needed.
Duration of Agreement:
The term of the Agreement shall be for twelve (12) months without renewals. Additional Options:

York reserves the right in its sole discretion to negotiate modifications to any Proposal received without becoming obligated to offer to negotiate with any other Proponent(s).
Supplier Prequalification (if applicable):
Not Applicable. Responses must be submitted in English.
