REQUEST FOR BID
UTILITY TASK VEHICLE
Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Merrimack until 2:00 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Monday,
October 5, 2026, for the supply and delivery of one (1) new, current-model-year Polaris Ranger
600 Sport Utility Task Vehicle (UTV), or approved equal, complete with the equipment and
accessories specified herein, for the Town of Merrimack Parks and Recreation Department, in
accordance with the enclosed detailed bid specifications and following conditions.
The unit shall be new, unused, and of current manufacture. The vehicle and all accessories shall
be fully assembled, installed, serviced, and ready for operation upon delivery.
MINIMUM VEHICLE SPECIFICATIONS
The proposed vehicle shall meet or exceed the following minimum specifications:
* Make/Model: Polaris Ranger 600, or approved equal
* Model Year: 2027 or newer/current model year
* Vehicle Type: Gasoline-powered Sport Utility Task Vehicle (UTV)
* Engine: Minimum 28 horsepower
* Drive System: On-demand four-wheel drive (4WD/AWD) or equivalent
* Power Steering: Electronic Power Steering (EPS) or equivalent
* Seating Capacity: Minimum two (2) occupants
* Ground Clearance: Minimum 10 inches
* Payload Capacity: Minimum 1,000 lbs.
* Towing Capacity: Minimum 1,500 lbs.
* Cargo Box Capacity: Minimum 500 lbs.
* Cargo Box: Rear dump-style cargo box capable of being tilted/dumped for unloading
materials
* Fuel Type: Gasoline
REQUIRED ACCESSORIES
The vehicle shall be furnished with the following Polaris accessories or approved equivalent
accessories specifically designed and approved for use with the vehicle being proposed:

* #2883319 - Lock & Ride Full Front Windshield, Hard Coat Polycarbonate
* #2879812 - Lock & Ride Rear Window, Polycarbonate
* #32100 - Front Steel Half Doors - Pair
* #32600 - Front Upper Soft Doors - Pair

All required accessories shall be new and fully installed prior to delivery.
The successful bidder shall be responsible for confirming that all proposed accessories are fully
compatible with the model year and vehicle being supplied.
Installation shall be performed in accordance with the vehicle and accessory manufacturers'
specifications and shall not void or otherwise adversely affect the manufacturer's vehicle or
accessory warranties.
If any specified accessory or part number has been discontinued, superseded, or is not compatible
with the current model year, the bidder shall provide the current manufacturer-approved
replacement or equivalent accessory and shall clearly identify the substitution in the bid.
The bid shall be submitted on the Bid Form furnished herewith and shall exclude state and federal
taxes not applicable to municipalities. The bid price shall be quoted F.O.B. Town of Merrimack,
Parks and Recreation Department, 116 Naticook Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054.
The Town reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive irregularities in the bids, and to
accept the bid which best serves the interest of the Town.
Bids must be sealed and marked "Bid on UTV" and be delivered to the Town of Merrimack
Finance Department, 6 Baboosic Lake Rd, Merrimack, NH 03054, by the time specified above
when they will be opened publicly and read aloud.
It is the bidder's responsibility to confirm the bid is received by the Finance Department by the
date and time specified.
