The State University of NY is requesting bids from equipment lessors to fund medical equipment and management information systems for SUNY's Syracuse University Hospital (Upstate Medical Center) and affiliates in Onondaga County. The Dormitory Authority of the State of NY (DASNY) has established the Tax?Exempt Equipment Lease Program (TELP) which provides SUNY with access to tax?exempt equipment lease financing. A $35,880,000 application has been filed with DASNY. The project includes an MRI, pharmacy dispensing equipment, C-Arms, patient monitors, patient beds, ECGs, X-Ray Units, radiology workstations, computer systems and IT equipment, anesthesia machines, ultrasound units, mass spectrometer, endoscopes and colonoscopes, health care management information systems, and other medical equipment. Vendors should request bid documentation. Requirements: Must have established track record in large ticket tax?exempt leasing. Must be an approved lessor under the DASNY TELP program, and must be willing to fund progress payments from escrowed funds. No subcontracting allowed. The IFB is attached to this advertisement.
