Sullivan Road Booster Station Improvements - Contract 25-001 General Construction and Contract 25-002 Electrical

Project Description: Sealed bids will be received online by Chester Water Authority via PennBid until 10:00 A.M. prevailing time, on Thursday, November 20, 2025, at which time they will be opened online and posted via PennBid for the following project.
SULLIVAN ROAD BOOSTER STATION IMPROVEMENTS
CONTRACT 25-001 - GENERAL CONSTRUCTION
CONTRACT 25-002 - ELECTRICAL
The project generally consists of the upgrade of potable water booster pumps, valves, controls, generator, interior piping, building improvements as well as site improvements to an existing booster pump station. Includes bypass pumping during the project.

Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check drawn to the order of Chester Water Authority, or a Bid Bond in favor of Chester Water Authority in the amount of 10% of the bid price. Said check or bond shall be subject to the conditions provided in the Instructions to Bidders.
No bid may be withdrawn within sixty (60) days of the date of the bid opening.
A non-mandatory Pre-bid Conference will be held at 10:00 A.M. prevailing time on Tuesday, October 28, 2025, held at the Sullivan Booster Station, 513 Bellemead Circle, Avondale, PA 19311.
The work in connection with this project constitutes a Public Works by a Public Body under Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act. Bidders are advised that prevailing minimum wage rates, promulgated by the Pennsylvania Secretary of Labor, must be paid to workmen employed on this project.
The Chester Water Authority reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive any bidding informalities.
