NOTICE TO BIDDERS
Sealed bids will be received by the Board of County Commissioners of Greene County,
Ohio, 35 Greene Street, Xenia, Ohio 45385, until 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, February 10, 2026, for the
Sugarcreek Headworks Project No. 2602SA, for the Greene County Sanitary Engineering
Department. At such time the bids will be opened and read aloud. All bids shall be submitted in
accordance with the requirements of the Instructions to Bidders. This legal advertisement is also
published on the Greene County Board of County Commissioners website,
http://www.greenecountyohio.gov/bids.aspx.
This project includes the replacement of the influent bar screens and washing presses at the
Sugarcreek WRRF. The project is located in Sugarcreek Township, Greene County, Ohio.
Copies of the Plans and Specifications, the estimated quantities of the items of work, the
proposal and contract forms can be downloaded at the Bid Express website
https://www.bidexpress.com/solicitations and are on file in the Greene County Sanitary
Engineering Department, 667 Dayton-Xenia Road, Xenia, Ohio 45385.
A non-mandatory Prebid Meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 3, 2026,
at 2365 OH-725, Spring Valley, OH 45370 (Sugarcreek WRRF).
ENGINEER’S ESTIMATE – $1,000,000
Bids shall be submitted electronically via Bid Express
https://www.bidexpress.com/solicitations per Instructions to Bidders, Specification Section 00100
or if submitted via hard copy the Bids shall be enclosed in a sealed envelope identified as
“Sugarcreek Headworks Project No. 2602SA” and must have full name and address of the Bidder
on the envelope.
The Board of County Commissioners reserve the rights defined in the Instructions to
Bidders, including, but not limited to the right to reject any or all Bids and to waive any
irregularities of Bids, should same be to the advantage of the County.
