The City of Ames Electric Services Department is accepting bids from qualified vendors for substation transformer maintenance and repair services for
DA6T2 Load Tap Changer (LTC) repair and "U" bushing replacement. Work to be scheduled during the months of May - June 2026 -or September - November of 2026.
Priority will be given to bidders who can complete the project within the specified timeframe.
All responses must be submitted before the deadline. No late responses will be reviewed.
No bidder may withdraw their bid for at least sixty (60) days after the scheduled closing time for receiving bids.
The City of Ames reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalities, and to make such awards as it shall deem to be in the best interest of the City.
