Los Alamitos Pump Station is in need of a replacement 8-inch sump pump to ensure reliable operation during storm events and high-flow conditions. Throughout this year, we have experienced multiple sump pump failures, including during the current storm season. These failures have increased the risk of operational downtime.
The sump pump plays a vital role in removing accumulated water from the wet well, equipment vaults, and low-lying areas within the station. Without a dependable backup or replacement unit readily available, the station is vulnerable to internal flooding, potential electrical damage, and interruption of pumping operations.
