Student Information Database for Adult Basic Ed – Literacy MN

The Department of Minnesota IT Services (MNIT), partnering with the Department of Corrections (DOC), intends to renew up to 12 mos. with Literacy MN for continued, uninterrupted use of MobyMax Moby School Suite & Edmentum online software support & 1 Northstar Digital Literacy Sponsorship for each consortium.

A database that is required by the Minnesota Department of education (MDE). All Minnesota ABE providers are required to enter and track student and program data in the statewide data system, SiD. SiD is maintained and supported by the Minnesota Literacy Council. No alternatives are permitted as per the Minnesota Literacy Council. MDE determines whether the DOC’s education group satisfies their MDE requirements for learners to receive a high school diploma or GED. Literacy MN retains exclusive ownership, copyrights, trademark of their proprietary software maintenance and support. The State believes these services are not available through third-party entities deeming this a sole source purchase.
