The Minnesota Department of Health must order custom dried minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) susceptibility Streptococcus panels YCMC6CDCS.
The antibiotic susceptibility panels requested are a high priority are a pivotal part of the Emerging Infections Program cooperative agreement with PHL and the Centers of Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). With that, the ordering, procurement, and utilization of these panels is required to fulfill the responsibilities and timeline set forth for the MDH Public Health Laboratory in the cooperative agreement. Urgent and timely purchasing of the panels is essential to perform the required and agreed-upon testing.
