Project Description: TOWNSHIP OF LOWER MERION
ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Notice is provided by the Township Secretary that proposals will be received by the Township of Lower Merion for the following:
2025 Street Tree Planting Program (Approximately 200 Trees)
Contract Number: 25-15-51-55
Sealed proposals shall be submitted online via the PennBid Bonfire Program (https://pennbid.bonfirehub.com).
Proposals will be received until 11:00 A.M., prevailing time, Thursday, August 14, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
Each Proposal shall be accompanied by a Bid Guaranty as specified in the Instructions to Bidders section (Exhibit “C”) of the Bid Document.
A Performance Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100% is required.
Specifications may be obtained electronically, at no cost, on the PennBid Bonfire website.
Work consists of planting 200 trees total in Lower Merion Township. All trees B&B.
Questions regarding the project scope shall be submitted via the “Questions” feature in PennBid. The last day for receipt of written questions is the end of business day Friday, August 8, 2025.
ATTENTION IS CALLED TO THE FACT THAT THE CONTRACTOR MUST ENSURE THAT EMPLOYEES AND APPLICANTS FOR THE EMPLOYMENT ARE NOT DISCRIMINATED AGAINST BECAUSE OF THEIR, RACE, COLOR, RELIGIOUS CREED, ANCESTRY, AGE, SEX, NATIONAL ORIGIN, PHYSICAL OR MENTAL DISABILITY, OR BECAUSE OF A PERSON'S SEXUAL ORIENTATION, GENDER IDENTITY OR GENDER EXPRESSION.
