The City of San Marcos is soliciting sealed bids for:

Solicitation Number: IFB 224-240                      Street Striping IDIQ

Project Scope: The scope of the project includes providing all labor, equipment, tools, materials, supplies, supervision, and other items or services necessary to provide pavement preparation and roadway striping services as required over miscellaneous City streets as identified by the Owner and executed utilizing multiple IDIQ work orders as necessary.   The anticipated annual expenditure is $90,000.

Bidders must submit a cashier’s check, certified check, or acceptable bid bond with their bid in the amount of five percent (5%) of the bid submitted.

A non-mandatory pre-bid video conference will be held on Tuesday, March 4, 2025, 2:00 P.M., Local Time. Access instructions to the pre-bid video conference can be located at www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement .

Sealed bids must be received in the Office of the Purchasing Manager, Building 3, 630 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, TX 78666, no later than Thursday, March 27, 2025, at 2:00 P.M., Local Time, and the bid opening will be conducted via video conference. Instructions for access to the video conference can be located at the top of the www.sanmarcostx.gov/eprocurement site.

Award is tentatively scheduled for the Tuesday, May 6, 2025, City Council meeting, at 6:00 p.m., or any subsequent time unless otherwise rescheduled.
