2025 Street Paving Project

Project Description: Plymouth Township will receive sealed bids online via the PennBid Program for STREET PAVING PROJECT” until 10:00 a.m. on Thursday April 24, 2025 at which time and place they will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The project consists of approximately 9,600 square yards of curbside milling, and approximately 1,850 tons of 1-1/2” Warm mix wearing course asphalt overlay on existing streets; Pub 408 specifications SUPERPAVE ASPHALT MIXTURE DESIGN, WEARING COURSE, PG 64S-22, 0.3 TO Bidding Documents are available at no cost at www.PennBid.net Pennbid charges a (.0033) 1/3 of 1 percent of the bid amount up to $5,000. The fee is only charged to the awarded contract entity.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the order of PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP executed by the bidder and acceptable surety, in an amount equal to ten (10%) percent of the total bid amount.
The successful bidder will be required to furnish and pay for satisfactory Performance and Payment Bond and Labor and Materials Bond in the amount of 100 percent of the Contract and a Maintenance Bond in the amount of ten percent of the Contract Price. The successful bidder will be required to pay Prevailing Wages, as set forth by the Pennsylvania Department of Labor and Industry.
Compliance with certain statutes, rules and regulations is required by all bidders. Section FF. of the supplemental Conditions, which is hereby incorporated by reference into this Invitation to Bid, contains a list of statues and regulations with which compliance is required where applicable. The Supplemental Conditions are available for inspection at the Township Building.
PLYMOUTH TOWNSHIP hereby reserves the right to reject any or all bids submitted, or any portion thereof, and also reserves the right to waive any informalities or irregularities in bids received, when, within the sole discretions of the Township, such rejection or waiver is in the best interests of the Township.
Bids may be held by the Township for a period not to exceed sixty (60) days from the date of the opening of the bids for the purpose of reviewing the bids and investigating the qualifications of bidders, prior to awarding of the Contract.
