2025 Street Improvements (MS-944 & MS-970)

Project Description: Sealed proposals will be received online for the 2025 Street Improvements via the PennBid Program (www.PennBid.net), by the Manchester Township Board of Supervisors, York County, Pennsylvania until 10:00 AM (prevailing time) Friday, April 4, 2025 for the following:
MS-944:
Contract No. 1 – Mill and remove approximately 5,080 sq. yds bituminous material; provide and place 20,310 sq. yds. of paving fabric; place approximately 3,095 tons of various bituminous concrete material throughout the Township, including 265 sq. yds. of road shoulder widening. Construct 315 L.F. of rolled concrete curb on radius.
MS-970:
Contract No. 2 – Provide approximately 32 hours of various sizes equipment rental
The bids will be publicly opened and read electronically, via PennBid’s website, at 10:00 AM (prevailing time), same date. Bid results will be available at the end of business day, same date.
A Bid Bond is not required. The successful bidder(s), when awarded a contract, shall furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond (with suitable surety) in the amount as specified in the Contract.
Notice is hereby given to bidders that the MS-944 and MS-970 Contracts are subject to the provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act approved August 15, 1961 (Act No. 442, P.L. 987), as amended.
Bidding documents are available to all prospective bidders online and at no cost at www.PennBid.net. Manchester Township reserves the right to reject any or all proposals and to make an award in the best interest of the Township.
