OWNER: Notice is hereby given by the Village of Grafton, Wisconsin by the undersigned Village Engineer that it will receive bids for street construction as follows:
CONTRACT # 25-03:
Approximately 5,900 Tons 1-1/4” Crushed Aggregate Base Course
Approximately 5,080 LF Concrete Curb & Gutter (includes removals)
Approximately 12,275 SF 4”, 5” & 10” Concrete Sidewalk/Driveway (R/R)
Approximately 2,560 Tons Bituminous Asphalt Pavement
Approximately 2,785 LF 6”, 8” PVC Watermain & Appurtenances
Approximately 2,800 LF 1-1/4” PE Water Lateral
Approximately 2,250 LF 8”, 15” & 18” PVC Sanitary Sewer
Approximately 1,085 LF 6” Sanitary Lateral
Approximately 110 VF Sanitary Manhole
Approximately 800 LF 12” HDPE Storm Sewer Pipe
Approximately 315 LF 12” RCP Storm Sewer Pipe
Approximately 8 EA Storm Sewer Manhole
Approximately 10 EA 2x3 Catch Basin
Traffic Control, Restoration, and other miscellaneous items.
This contract is partially funded by the State of Wisconsin Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). LRIP funds are partially funding the bituminous pavement replacement on Falls Street.

TIME: Sealed bids will be received until 11 A.M. on the 4th day of March, 2025 at the Department of Public Works at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
BIDS: All bids shall be addressed to The Village of Grafton, Village Engineer, 675 North Green Bay Road, Grafton, WI 53024, and shall be enclosed with the name and address of the bidder and the contract for which the bid is being submitted on the outside of the sealed envelope.
QUALIFICATION OF BIDDERS: Bidders shall file Contractor’s Qualification Statement 7 calendar days prior to bid opening.
BID SECURITY: A certified check, or satisfactory bid bond payable to the Village of Grafton in the amount of not less than five (5%) percent or more than ten (10%) percent of the bid shall accompany each bid as guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the Contract Performance Bond and Insurance Certificate as required by this contract within ten (10) days after Notice of Award of the Contract by the Village.
BID REJECTION: The Village reserves the right to reject any and all bids, waive any informalities or irregularities in bidding or accept any bid or bids which, in the opinion of the Village, shall serve the Village's best interest.
BID WITHDRAWAL: No bid may be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days after the time and date set for the opening thereof, without the consent of the Village.
