STP 1012 Z-Drive System Storage, Handling, and Preservation Services

Oregon State University intends to contract for the storage, handling, and preservation of its STP 1012 Z-Drive Systems with Schottel, Inc. as a sole source because of the contractor being the single provider of the goods and/or services. The storage, handling, and preservation of the STP 1012 Z-Drive Systems is necessary for Oregon State University’s Regional Class Research Vessel (RCRV) Project. The STP 1012 Z-Drive Systems were procured by the RCRV Project’s contracted shipyard, Bollinger Houma Shipyards, from vendor Schottel, Inc. As is the original equipment manufacturer, Schottel, Inc. is able to provide ongoing storage and maintenance of the equipment to ensure vessel readiness and provide OSU with a six-month post-installation warranty necessary to support OSU’s business needs. An entity may appeal this determination in accordance with OSU Standard 03-010. Section 5.17 no later than the closing date indicated on the website.
