City of Chanute, Kansas (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following Project:

STORMWATER WALL REHABILITATION ALONG W 1st ST

MEG PN: 2025-Chanute-07-001

Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Midwest Engineering Group office located at 1476 1300th St, Suite A, Iola, KS 66749, until 20th July,2026 at 1 P.M. local time. At that time the Bids received will be “publicly” opened and read.

The Project includes the following Work:

Project includes the replacement of approximately 205 Linear feet of a concrete retaining wall (south side only) with adjacent sidewalk, curb & gutter, pavement, and fence; located along the north side of W.1st St. between S.Steuben Ave. and S.Forest Ave.

The Project has an expected duration of 60 calendar days to Substantial Completion and 90 calendar days to final payment.

Bidding documents will be shipped only if the requesting party assumes responsibility for all related charges. Corporate, certified, or cashier’s checks shall be made payable to Drexel Technologies, Inc.

Prospective Bidders must register with the Issuing Office as a plan holder. The project information in the eDistribution plan room will be updated periodically with addenda’s, lists of registered plan holders, reports, and other information relevant to submitting a Bid for the project. All official notifications, addenda’s, and other Bidding Documents will be offered only through the eDistribution plan room. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for Bidding Documents, including addenda, if any, obtained from sources other than the designated Issuing Office.

Pre-bid Conference

A pre-bid conference for the Project will not be held.
