Questions must be submitted in writing to pwadden@vail.gov no later than 4 p.m. local time Feb. 16, 2026.

The successful firm shall hold pricing for the term of the contract. The Town of Vail reserves the right to waive any irregularities and to reject any and all proposals on any basis without disclosing the reason.

Contract Term

This work is to be completed before Oct. 31, 2026. It is anticipated that up to 100 hours of work will be required. Specific dates to be established with the selected firm following award of contract.

General Project Description

The Town of Vail Environmental Sustainability Department is seeking proposals from contractors for permanent labeling of 900 storm drain inlets. The town seeks a contractor capable of fabricating and installing permanent labels affixed and inset into the pavement adjacent to the stormwater inlets in a manner which will not interfere with or be damaged by plowing operations. Labels should read “Dump no Waste, Drains to Creek” or similar. Respondents are asked to submit a proposal containing their qualifications, staff and equipment availability and hourly rates for labor and equipment and mockups of proposed labels. Proposals will be reviewed and used to establish a qualified vendors list.
