This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format inthe Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, using Simplified Procedures for CertainCommercial Items found at FAR 13.5, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice.This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a written solicitationwill not be issued.
This is a non-personal services contract to provide 3 part training to include an online controls/operations program, a simulator basic to advance operator training and a in person class to qualify operators for the emergency strike team. The Government will not exercise any supervision or control over the contract service providers performing the services herein. Such contract service providers shall be accountable solely to the contractor who, in turn, is responsible to the Government. See attached PWS for full details.
The Government intends to award a firm-fixed base contract with two additional option years for commercial heavy equipment operator training services.
The period of performance will be: Base year - 08 May 25 to 07 May 2026
Option 1 - 08 May 26 to 07 May 2027
Option 2 - 08 May 27 to 07 May 2028.
