Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at Idaho at North Idaho
College, Facility Operations Headwaters Complex Conference Room at 701 River Avenue, Coeur
d'Alene, Idaho, 83814 until 1:00 pm Pacific local time, on Tuesday, May 19, 2026 for 22170 Steam
Plant Elimination, PH 2, North Idaho College, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include decommissioning of the aging steam
boiler plant in McLain Hall and providing replacement HVAC systems in the Industrial Arts building,
Christianson Gymnasium, McLain Hall and Lee-Kildow Hall. Electrical, Plumbing, and Structural upgrades
related to HVAC upgrades. Patching and repairing of adjacent construction including roof assemblies
under warranty will be required. McLain hall will include a new fire alarm system.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, April 30, 2026, beginning at 1:00 pm., prevailing Pacific
local time, at the Idaho at North Idaho College, Facility Operations Headwaters Complex
Conference Room at 701 River Avenue, Coeur d'Alene, Idaho, 83814. Bidders are encouraged to
attend.
One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and
electrical subcontractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit of $500.00. Others may
obtain documents at cost, non-refundable.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public
Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
