Solicitation Summary
This specification pertains to the provision of the Maryland Department of General Services (DGS), with a contract to provide Presort Mail Service for the Department of General Services Managed Facilities. In addition to facilities managed by the State of Maryland's Department of General Services, this contract shall be made available for use by other Agencies or Institutions of the State of Maryland, referred to as “Users”.
The State is issuing this solicitation for the purposes of: Soliciting bids to establish a term contract with a Contractor to pick up First Class Letters, Flats, Standard Mail, Permit and Certified Metered Mail from participating agencies at USPS Presort/Bar-Coded discount mail rates, presorted and presented to the USPS facility in accordance with the following and attached terms, conditions and requirements as specified herein. “Users” that are currently participating and their anticipated yearly volumes are listed in Attachment U (Participating State Agencies and Estimated Volumes).
