Statement of Qualifications Request: Consultant Engineers for Sidewalk Improvement Project

The City of Cookeville is now accepting Statements of Qualifications from professional consultant engineering firms to provide Construction Engineering and Inspection (CEI) services for a TDOT-funded sidewalk improvement project overing approximately 1.57 miles. The project will add sidewalks along Interstate Drive (South Willow Avenue to South Jefferson Avenue) and South Jefferson Avenue (Interstate Drive to South Walnut Avenue), including grass buffer strips, curb and gutter, crosswalks, pedestrian and traffic signals, stormwater drainage, and retaining walls where required.

Firms must be on TDOT’s pre-approved list, and those performing work exceeding $100,000 in fees must have unlimited status. Letters of Interest and five (5) copies of a Statement of Qualifications must be submitted to James Mills, City Manager, City of Cookeville, 45 East Broad Street, Cookeville, TN 38501, no later than Tuesday, September 9, 2025. Late submissions will not be considered, and no fee proposals should be included.
