State Government Relations Support

Forward Pinellas is the fictious name for the Pinellas Planning Council, established in state law through a Special Act of the Florida Legislature. With countywide land use and transportation planning responsibilities, and through the provision of technical support to each of the county’s local governments, Forward Pinellas is uniquely sensitive to policy changes that occur at the state level. To remain informed of potential, planned and emerging legislation or policy changes, Forward Pinellas is seeking a qualified firm (Consultant) to provide State Government Relations Support to the agency. These services will be exclusive to the Pinellas Planning Council and will not involve the activities or funding associated with the Pinellas County Metropolitan Planning Organization, which is a separate legal entity comprising Forward Pinellas.
