Procurement Strategy for Indigenous Business
.
The requirement is to procure one thousand StarTech PCIe Gigabit Ethernet Fiber Network Card w/ Open SFP or equivalent specifically to life cycle, and upgrade, our existing infrastructure within our environment.
The model recommended was based on it meeting our Open SFP requirement to allow for interchangeability of SFP connector modules. This is done to work with different connection types currently in use within the department. This also allows for future upgrades to the Fiber infrastructure.
All Integrated Circuits must be soldered directly to the mainboard
