This Addendum forms a part of the Contract Documents and modifies the original Bidding
Documents as noted below. Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum in the space provided. Failure
to do so may subject Bidder to disqualification.
This Addendum consists of 1 page and the attached Contract Documents.
CHANGES TO CONTRACT DOCUMENTS:
1. REPLACE the Advertisement for Bids with the enclosed revised Advertisement for Bids
dated July 21, 2026.
2. The mandatory pre-bid conference has been rescheduled for Tuesday, July 28 at 2pm at
the Edgefield County Council Chambers located at 225 Jeter Street.
3. The bid opening date and time are unchanged.

General Notice
Edgefield County, South Carolina (Owner) is requesting Bids for the construction of the following
Project:
Star Park - Edgefield County, South Carolina
Project Number - 24CRA0301
Bids for the construction of the Project will be received at the Office of the County Administrator
located at 124 Courthouse Square, Edgefield, SC 29824, until Thursday, August 13 at 3:00 pm local
time. At that time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The Project includes the following Work:
Construction of a public park including a football field, a soccer field, walking trails, and associated
utilities. New parking areas and retention pond are included in the scope of work. The base bid
includes the required grading and site work for other park features that are bid as Add Alternates.
These features include the pickleball and basketball courts, splash pad, picnic shelter, and
playground.
Bids are requested for the following Contract: Star Park - Edgefield County, South Carolina
The Project has an expected duration of 180 days.
Obtaining the Bidding Documents

Prospective Bidders may obtain digital copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as
described below. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither
Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including addenda,
if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
Printed copies of the Bidding Documents are not available.
Pre-bid Conference
A mandatory pre-bid conference for the Project will be held on Tuesday, July 28 at 2:00 pm at the Office
of the County Administrator located at 225 Jeter Street, Edgefield, SC 29824. Bids will not be accepted
from Bidders that do not attend the mandatory pre-bid conference.

Instructions to Bidders.
For all further requirements regarding bid submittal, qualifications, procedures, and contract award,
refer to the Instructions to Bidders that are included in the Bidding Documents. Last day of questions is
Friday, July 31, 2026, at 4:00 pm. Questions will be responded to via addendum on August 5, 2026, by
5:00 pm.
