Description


The City of Emerson, Georgia is requesting sealed bids for the furnishing and delivery of standby power equipment associated with the Standby Power FEMA Grant 2026 Implementation project. This solicitation is for the Installation of Owner Supplied Generators and ATS. Sealed bids will be received no later than October 28, 2025, at 10:00 AM (local time) at Emerson City Hall, 700 Highway 293, Emerson, GA 30137. Bids received after the deadline or delivered to any location other than City Hall, will not be considered. Immediately following the deadline, bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. Late submissions will not be accepted or considered. It is the sole responsibility of the bidder to ensure that the bid is delivered on time to the designated address above.

Scope of Work: The work will consist of Standby Power FEMA Grant 2026 Implementation, including unloading and installation of one (1) Owner supplied Fixed 125 kW generator, one (1) Owner Supplied Fixed 80 kW generator, one (1) Owner Supplied Fixed 45 kW generator, one (1) Owner supplied 200 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch, one (1) Owner supplied 150 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch, one (1) Owner Supplied 100 Amp Automatic Transfer Switch, Contractor supplied PVC conduit, Contractor supplied Rigid Conduit (RMC), Contractor supplied electrical wiring, any concrete incasement if required at the Moss Spring location., connections , conduits, wiring, switches, panels, receptacles and necessary mounting materials.

Bid Documents: Copies of the Contract Documents may be obtained from PeoplesQuigley | DCCM by calling (404) 255-2650. A non-refundable fee of $100.00 per set is required, and requests must be submitted no later than 48 hours prior to the bid opening. Upon receipt of payment, contractors will be added to the official Plan Holders List and will be eligible to submit a bid. Contract Documents will be provided in electronic format; hard copies are available upon request.
