Description:

Baruch College of The City University of New York intends to procure various Standard & Poor’s products for a period of One year pursuant to its discretionary purchasing authority under State Finance Law § 163(6).

Products Requirements Listing:
1.Compustat North American and its Back Data History,
2.Back Segment Data and Bank
3.Compustat Global and ExecuComp
4.NetAdvantage and Capital IQ

Vendor Requirement:

To be considered for the award, prospective vendors must be able to provide access to the above-named products from Standard and Poor’s and must be either the publisher or an authorized reseller of the products. Prospective vendors that are authorized to sell/resell the above-named Standard & Poor’s products must meet the product requirements set forth in the Description above, and sell/resell other Standard & Poor’s resources that may be available now or in the future to educational institutions. Vendors are invited to submit no later than the date set forth below: 1) documentation verifying that your company can meet the product requirements set forth above; 2) a letter from, Standard & Poor’s that verifies your company’s authority to sell/resell/provide the above named products and any future products; 3) three years of experience supplying similar goods and services to higher education institutions; and 4) is legally able to directly provide Standard & Poor’s (no subcontracting is permitted).

If you are interested in providing Standard & Poor’s products and meet all of the foregoing requirements, please submit in writing, by letter, both (1) your expression of interest; and (2) statements and copied of relevant documents showing that you meet each of the foregoing requirements no later than the due date set forth below.

Additional Information

No subcontracting is allowed.

Vendors are invited to submit no later than February 10, 2025 @10:00AM: 1) documentation verifying that your company can meet the minimum product requirements; and 2) a letter from S&P Global authorizing your company to sell/resell the S&P Global Products and Services.

All the services described and set forth herein and in accordance with the University contract terms and conditions, New York State Appendix A (June, 2023), and the University’s Purchase Order terms and conditions.

The Procurement Lobbying Act (PLA) Applies to this Solicitation.

Compliance Procurement Lobbying Act PLA:
Required Forms: Vendor are required to complete, sign and submit the following
forms:
1.“Offerer’s Affirmation of Understanding of and Agreement pursuant to State Finance Law § 139-j (3) and § 139-j (6) (b)”
2.“Offerer’s Disclosure of Prior Non-Responsibility Determinations and Certification of Compliance with State Finance Law §139-j and §139-k”.

Under the requirements of the State Procurement Lobbying Act all communications
regarding advertised projects are to be channeled through the Office of University
Controller (*Designated Contacts). Until a designation is made, communication with
any other CUNY employees concerning this project that is determined to be an
attempt to influence the procurement may result in disqualification.

Contact with CUNY:
Under the requirements of the Procurement Lobbying Act (PLA), all communications regarding advertised projects are to be channeled through the Designated Contact. Communication with respect to this procurement initiated by or on behalf of an interested vendor through others than the Designated Contact may constitute an “impermissible contact” under NYS law and could result in disqualification of that vendor.
