Description: St. Mark Catholic Church in Independence, MO will be renovating their existing nave, narthex, & chapel starting May 18th, 2026 and being completed by December 11th, 2026.

Straub has been hired as the Construction Manager.

The nave renovation consists of new tile, lighting, relocation of the confessional, modifications to the sanctuary stone wall, baptistry relocation & re-build, geo-foam and pour around the existing altar, drywall & trim throughout.

In the narthex there will be new paint, lighting (alternate #1), & tile flooring.

The chapel renovation will consist of removal of the existing confessional, new lighting, trim, relocation of the tabernacle, and new tile flooring.

Please note there are three alternates.
Alternate #1 - Narthex Electrical Work
Alternate #2 - Stations of the Cross Soffit & Lighting
Alternate #3 - North Apse Windows
