NOTICE TO BIDDERS

CITY OF NEWTON, IOWA PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT PROJECT

Sealed bids for the work comprising the improvements stated below must be filed before 11:00 am on December 4th, 2025, in the office of the Public Works Director, 303 W 4th St N, Suite 501, Newton, IA 50208.

Sealed proposals will be opened and bids tabulated at 11:00 am on December 4th, 2025, in the Public Works Office, 303 @ 4th St N, Suite 501, Newton, IA, for consideration by the Newton City Council at its meeting on December 15th, 2025; at the Newton City Council Chambers.  The City of Newton reserves the right to reject any and all bids.

Work on the improvement shall commence upon approval of the contract by the Council and issuance of the Notice to Proceed, and be completed as stated below.
