SSTMA Maintenance Garage

Project Description: The Silver Spring Township Authority proposes to construct a maintenance garage at the Silver Spring Township Wastewater Treatment Plant located at 60 Millfording Road. The project includes the construction of a 4,800 square foot building, and associated site improvements.
Sealed bids shall be submitted and updated online until 10:00 o’clock AM, prevailing time, on the 15th day of August, 2025, at which time they will be publicly opened and read: All documents and solicitation details are available any time at PennBid (www.pennbid.net). Project drawings and documents are available for inspection at the offices of the engineer, Pennoni Associates Inc., 5072 Ritter Road, Suite 102, Mechanicsburg, PA 17055.
Each bid must be accompanied by a certified check or bid bond payable to the Owner in an amount of not less than ten percent (10%) of the bid or bids.
Only bonds from companies licensed to do business in the State where the Owner is located will be accepted and the bond shall so state same.
Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Rates will apply to this contract.
There will be a Pre-bid Meeting at 10:00 AM on the 30th day of July, 2025 at the Silver Spring Township Wastewater Treatment Plant, located at 60 Millfording Road, Mechanicsburg, PA 17050.
Bids must be submitted unconditionally. No bidder may withdraw bid within sixty 60 days after the scheduled closing time for receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities, or to reject any or all bids.
