SSE #: C35328 - Painting and Steel Repairs of Elevated Structures: 225 Street to 242 Street Broadway 7th Avenue.

Description of Goods or Services to Be Bid: The Work of this Contract includes cleaning, repair and painting of the elevated structure from 225th Street (Bent 147) to 242nd Street (Bent 282) on the Broadway7th Avenue Line (IRT) in the Borough of the Bronx.

The scope of the Work is summarized as follows:

1. Repair and replacement of structural members.
2. Abrasive blasting and painting of the elevated structure including furnishing, installing and removing temporary suspended decking and containment systems.

1. All associated environmental work, including asbestos abatement.
2. Maintenance and protection of traffic on street level.
3. Exterior painting of wayside buildings located on the elevated structure.
4. Demolition of two (2) Circuit Breaker Houses.
5. Installation of bird deterrent systems.

This is an A + B Bidding Contract.
