Las Vegas Valley Water District invites qualified firms (Bidders) to submit Bids for the follow Work, see Contract Documents for full details.
The Site of the Work is located in the Meadows Detention Basin within the Springs Preserve Cienega in Las Vegas, Nevada. Physical address of the site is 333 South Valley View Boulevard, Las Vegas, NV 89107.
The Work consists of construction of flood control improvements within the existing Meadows Detention Basin. Improvements include construction of a concrete lined open channel connecting the existing upstream inflow structure with the existing downstream outflow structure, replacement of the existing ogee crest overflow spillway with a higher capacity labyrinth spillway, and other miscellaneous associated flood control appurtenances. Removals necessary to construct the improvements include removal of existing riprap, portions of existing concrete drainage structures, existing concrete spillway crest, and existing outlet trash rack grate.
Engineer's estimate: $3,980,400
