Scope of Services
The City of Altamonte Springs desires to secure the services of a State of Florida Licensed General Contractor to perform pavement reconstruction and resurfacing on Little Wekiva Road, addressing damages caused by Hurricane Milton. The impacts from the hurricane resulted in significant damage to the roadway, necessitating immediate repairs to ensure safety, functionality, and longevity of the infrastructure. This scope of work includes full pavement reconstruction at three (3) locations, with sub-base & base materials, and pavement milling and resurfacing at one (1) intersection to restore the roadway to optimal conditions. Each location will require specific measures to ensure minimal disruption to vehicular and pedestrian traffic, school bus traffic, and residents, adherence to safety standards, and compliance with City and State regulations. The project is divided into four specific locations as detailed below and as identified on the plans.
