2026 Spray Field Vegetation Improvements for the City of Helen, Ga:
The scope of this project is to reforest sparse and bare areas of the City of Helen¿s land application system spray fields with native species of trees and shrubs. The five (5) spray fields were historically damaged by extreme weather, and the vegetation has not yet fully reestablished. Additionally, a portion of the residual tree cover in well forested areas needs to be ¿select cut¿ and some of the spray fields require invasive species removal. Bids will be received at the City of Helen, City Hall, 25 Aplenrosen Strasse, Helen, Georgia 30545 until 10:00 a.m. on December 11, 2025. The Project consists of, but is not limited to the following major elements:

Reforestation and supplemental planting of 3,100 trees, select cutting of existing trees, and invasive species removal of kudzu and privet. The project takes place across 26 acres of rugged terrain within the land application system spray fields for the City of Helen.

Time of completion for all work associated with this project shall be three hundred (150) consecutive calendar days from the date of a written "Notice to Proceed" from OWNER.
