Commerce is soliciting applications for a $1 million grant program to help eligible sports commissions across the state secure major sporting events, and in the process, promote economic and community development by drawing visitors from outside their geographic service area. This additional financial support will help “eligible sports commissions” secure partnerships, make event guarantees required by sports events. |
