These contract actions will procure the FY2026-FY2027 AN/SPN-50 Shipboard Air Traffic Radar (SATR). The primary modification will include the production and associated production support for the AN/SPN-50 and retrofit kits. The total estimated quantity of AN/SPN-50 radars to be procured under the primary modification is up to 5, or other quantities as authorized and appropriated by Congress. Additional modification(s) are anticipated for Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs) and Government Furnished Equipment (GFE) repairs.
This acquisition is being pursued on a sole source basis under the statutory authority of 10 U.S.C. 3204(a)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, "Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements".
