This Request for Proposal (RFP) is being issued on behalf of the Faculty of Science, Department of Chemistry. The University of Alberta is inviting the submission of Proposals to supply and install Semi-Preparative Recycling HPLC/GPC Combo Instrument with Analytical Separation Capability and CD Detector, Circular Dichroism (CD) Spectrometer, and Circularly Polarized Luminescence (CPL) Spectrometer. The instruments will be used for purification of achiral and chiral organic molecules, separation of enantiomers, purification of oligomers and polymers, determination of polymer molecular weights, and analysis of chiroptic properties by CD and CPL spectroscopy. The successful Proponent will be expected to supply and install the equipment as well as provide on-site training.
