Scope of Services
This Statement of Work (SOW) establishes the scope, inspection methodology, and seven-year work plan for the inspection of distribution poles in the Florida Keys Electric Cooperative (FKEC) system. The intent of this program is to inspect the system in substantially equal annual increments over a seven-year period while satisfying applicable Florida Public Service Commission requirements, National Electrical Safety Code (NESC) standards, and the additional inspection criteria specified by FKEC. Florida PSC Rule 25-18.020 requires pole inspections at least every eight years and visual checks for compliance with NESC strength and clearance standards.
