Special Notice

Participation Survey for T0213 Bid Solicitation for Rock Salt, Treated Salt, and Solar Salt -

Statewide

Please be advised that the Division of Purchase and Property (Division), is currently gathering

information for the reprocurement of T0213 Rock Salt, Treated Salt, and Solar Salt –

Statewide. The Division issued a survey on August 3, 2026. If your Agency did not receive the

survey or if your Agency would like a copy of the survey and instructions sent to the

respective Agency’s representative, please send a request for information to the following

email address: dpp.commodities@treas.nj.gov

Important Notes:

1. The submission of the survey will ensure that your Using Agency location is added to

the upcoming Bid Solicitation, but does not guarantee an award will be made for the

location(s) provided.

2. If an Interested Agency’s location receives an award, the Using Agency will be

required to purchase a percentage of its yearly commitment totals as follows:

• Quasi-State Entities will guarantee to order and accept fifty percent (50%) of

the filed requirements during each Contract year.

• Local Municipalities will guarantee to order and accept thirty percent (30%) of

the filed requirements during each Contract year.

3. Please do not disclose any information including the attached to current or

potential bidders.

Please respond at your earliest convenience but no later than close of business Friday,

August 14, 2026.
