Description: Farmingdale State College is seeking a qualified firm to complete Special Inspections for the construction on the Campus Commons Rehabilitation project. The scope of work includes but is not limited to performing special inspections and structural testing in accordance with Chapter 17 of the New York State Building Code. Failed inspections and re-inspections have not been calculated into this bid but could be added if necessary. This project has a not to exceed lump sum of $75,000.00. SUNY intends to make an award under our discretionary authority, pursuant to State Finance Law 163.6, for the above noted service. The estimated construction time frame for this project is 550 days from the notice to proceed. To be considered a responsive submission you must request a copy of the RFP from the university. The pricing sheet is an estimate of inspections based on the specifications and drawings. Firms interested in submitting a request for proposal must contact Taylor Nappie at nappietn@farmingdale.edu for all pertaining documents. A sealed bid will not be held.
