Sealed proposals will be received by the Division of Public Works, State of Idaho, at 502 N. 4th St., PO
Box 83720, Boise, Idaho 83720-0072 until 2:00 p.m. local time, on Thursday, October 29, 2026 for
DPW Project 25207 SPEC Air Handler Replacement, Boise State University, Boise, Idaho.
A description of the work of this project can be summarized to include The Removal and replacement of the
existing multi-zone air handling unit and associated return fan, chilled water pump, and accessories.
Additionally, the scope includes the installation of a new steam converter, heating water pump, piping,
and accessories. The heating water piping will be extended to serve the new multi-zone unit. Integration
of the Johnson Controls (JCI) building automation system will be provided by extending the existing
system from the nearby Student Union building.
Proposals will be opened and publicly read at the above hour and date.

There will be a Pre-Bid Conference on Thursday, October 8, 2026, beginning at 2:00 p.m., prevailing local
time, at the Boise State University SPEC Building, 1800 University Drive, Boise, Idaho 83706. Bidders
are encouraged to attend.
One set of documents may be obtained by licensed general contractors and by licensed mechanical and
electrical subcontractors from the Design Professional for a refundable deposit of $200.00. Others may
obtain documents at cost, non-refundable.
A bid bond in the amount of 5% of the total bid amount, including any add alternates, is required. A Public
Works Contractor's License for the State of Idaho is required to bid on this work.
Estimated Cost: $1,492,000.00
