The Defense Logistics Agency-Energy intends to issue a modification to exercise a bridge option period under existing contract SPE600-15-C-5000. This action is required to ensure the continued provision of Government-Owned, Contract-Operated (GOCO) fuel management and alongside aircraft refueling services at Naval Air Station (NAS) Jacksonville, FL.
The proposed bridge option period of performance is September 1, 2026, through November 30, 2026.
Contract SPE600-15-C-5000 was originally awarded on November 28, 2014. This short-term bridge extension is necessary to prevent a lapse in critical aviation fuel operations and mission support while the follow-on contract action is finalized and transitioned.
Statutory Authority:
This proposed contract action is for services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements.
Submission Details:
This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency if received by the closing response date of this notice. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement in the future. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed action based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
